Remember! You have to validate your IP address each time it changes. If your Smart DNS service is not working, just try to validate your IP address again.
You also have other two options to validate an IP address:
Using this method you do not have to sign in to your account each time you need to validate the IP. Add this link to your browser favorites/bookmarks and your IP address will be validated every time you load this URL into your browser.
Important! Do not share this link! It is unique for every CactusVPN user. If you share it, other people will have access to your Smart DNS service and you will not be able to use it.
Part II. Change your Play Station DNS addresses
This has to be done only once.
It is important to save your original DNS settings before making any changes. You might need them in case you will want to switch back to your original settings.
From the menu of your PSP go to “Settings” (3) then select “Network Settings” (4).
Choose “Internet Connection Settings” (5). Click on “Yes” when confirmation screen is displaying that you will be disconnected from the Internet.
Choose “Custom” (6) in “Select a setting method” screen.
Select “Scan” (7) in “WLAN Settings” screen.
Select your network and then select “Wi-Fi” (8).
Select your Wi-Fi network.
Select “WPA-PSK/ WPA2-PSK” (9).
Enter your WPA key (10).
In the “IP Address Settings” choose “Automatic” (11).
For “Set the DHCP host name” select “Do Not Set” (12).
Select “Manual” (13) in “DNS Settings” screen.
When you see this screen enter the DNS Server addresses (14). You can find them in Settings -> DNS Servers in Your Account on our website.
In the “MTU” screen choose “Automatic” (15).
Select “Do Not Use” (16) in “Proxy Server” compartment.
Select “Enable” (17) in UPnP”.
Press the “X” button to save settings.
In order the changes to take place restart your PS3. You will have to do that just once.
